????1500m MEN, round one heats summary

#Narve_Gilje_Nordås???????? was a candidate for two medals in EC. But at 5.000m he became no.11, and to day he didn’t manage to go further from round 1 at 1500m. This despit for the low speed in his heat. His body didn’t respond when he wanted to speed up.
But #Jakob_Ingebrigtsen???????? did as he wanted in his heat. He was running at the back of his heat until one round left, then 5 runners falled. Jakob was not hindered by the falls even though he was lying at the back. So he took the opportunity to start advancing forward in the field until he was in the lead with 20m to go and won easily.
He seems to be supreme in Europe at the moment, although two British runners were missing. At the start the field pushed out at relatively high speed, while Jakob stayed 20 m behind the field at his own pace until the opening speed of the field stabilized and Jakob easily caught up without having used as much effort as the rest of the field.
