Join me for a drive into the centre of Dublin City as Storm Barra batters Ireland with high winds and heavy rainfall. Schools in the worst affected areas were closed by the government as a precaution and some businesses decided not to open. As a result there was very little traffic on normally very busy roads heading into the city. The Southwest of Ireland experienced the worst of the storm but high winds and rain were also present in Dublin as can be seen in the video.

The drive begins in Terenure and passes through Rathgar, Rathmines, Portobello before reaching the city centre. We drive along George's Street, Dame Street, Christchurch Cathedral, The North Quays, The Ha'Penny Bridge, O'Connell Street Bridge, The Customs House, Samuel Beckett Bridge, Sir John Rogerson's Quay and finishes on Stevens Walk near the Grand Canal Dock area.
