For the first time in its 13 year history, not one, not two, but three world records were broken at the same Diamond League event.
A week after breaking the 1,500M record in Florence, Kenyan distance-runner Faith Kipyegon had enough gas in the tank to break the 5,000M record. Meanwhile, Ethiopian Lamecha Girma made his mark in history in the men's 3,000M steeplechase, and Norway's Jakob Ingebrigtsen ran away with the 2-Mile WR.
It's almost like these athletes have something to prove coming up in Paris ;)
