Freddy Ovett, son of Steve Ovett (1980 Olympic
Gold Medallist in the 800m) is a professional
cyclist representing Legion of Los Angeles.

Freddy was a running prodigy in his teenage years
before discovering that he preferred the
lfestyle and opportunities that came with
the sport of Cycling.

During lockdown, Freddy began running with
his girlfriend who was interested in running
a marathon in the near future.

Freddy’s love for running returned and he decided to
enter the 2021 Los Angeles Marathon a week before
the event to see what he could run off cycling training.





He ran 2:48.

Freddy is now preparing for the 2022 Berlin Marathon,
this time off 10-20mi (16-32km) a week of running
along with his 20+ hours/week on the bike.

His goal is to run around 2:30.
