LISTENER QUESTION: At 67 I’m looking for all the little things that might help make up some of the difference between my athletic performance on a bike from when I was 35, 45, and even 50. I’m not talking about the obvious things like low bodyfat, strength/core training or good training plan (thanks, Consummate Athlete!) but more of a “marginal gain” type of things such as Aero socks, Breathe exercise, Lactigo sports gel, waxed chain. … … I’d like to hear your opinion on small things (if there are any) that add up and what marginal gains you feel are worthwhile especially for the aging athlete.
