Here I (Tanis Leonhardi; she/her/hers; of Seattle) talk through the Jakob Ingebrigtsen (of Norway), 1 mile run race at the 2025 World Athletics Gold Tour Meeting (Indoor Track) in Lievin, France (time of 3 minutes 45.13 seconds in the final on Thursday 13 February 2025). With his time he achieved a personal best time, a Norway record time, a Europe record time, a world record time and first place. I provide my take/perspective on his performance and contextualize it in terms of finding out about the result via video recommendation here on YouTube for a video by a French news agency.
