What a night for athletics!

First it was Ingebritsen to too the line for the 2 mile outdoor World record. He managed to cross the finish line in 7:54.10, smashing the first WR this evening and winning by 15 seconds.

Later that day, after breaking the 1500m world record in Florence last week, Kipyegon breaks another world record on the 5000m, winning in 14:05.20.

Lamecha Girma broke the second World record this evening, crossing the line in 7:52.11, a 19 years old record set by Said Saeed Shaheen!
