Video from the S 25 Berlin 25 km race on Sunday, October 10, 2021 taken from the lead vehicle. With help of detailed splits, the chase of Danish top runner Thijs Nijhus on the national 25 km record can be followed. This mark of 1:16:47 was achieved in 1980 by Allan Zachariasen at the Paderborner Osterlauf. In a fine run Nijhuis missed the record by 25 seconds, but won the race in 1:17:12. Hendrik Pfeiffer (TV Wattenscheid) came in on second place in 1:17:23.
